Established in 2005 as an operating division of NSAC, Atlantic BioVenture Centre (ABVC) is encouraging a movement towards development of innovative, bio-based high value products. ABVC works with the primary and processing sectors on bio-resource value chain developments and technology transfer. Based on a 'development requiring research' philosophy, the Centre is leading Atlantic agri-food and aqua-food producers and processors towards the bio-based economy.
